Master Planning
Latitude 33 provided land planning, entitlement, and civil engineering services for the Salk Institute Expansion/Master Plan. The project included a Conditional Use Permit, Coastal Development Permit, Planned Development Permit, Site Development Permit, Vesting Tentative Map, and a Multi-Habitat Planning Area (MHPA). Other efforts included a boundary adjustment for an approximately 110,000-square-feet expansion of scientific research space, a redevelopment of 29,000-square-feet of administrative and support space, three greenhouses, on-site day care, and 12 temporary housing units.
