- Scope/Description: Terminal 1 is a redevelopment and expansion project to improve the dated 1960’s terminal. Some features include 11 new gates to the present 19 gates, adding additional gate seating, restaurants and shops and additional security checkpoints with more lanes and a host of energy-efficient upgrades. Terminal 1’s expansion, part of the overall Airport Development Plan, also includes numerous roadway and transportation improvements. Latitude 33 will be leading the site components (utilities, on grade roadways, and grading).

- Fun Fact: When the Airport opened in 1967, Terminal 1 served 2.5 million passengers that year. In 2019, the same facility served more than 12 million.
