This project was chartered by UC San Diego in early 2019 in response to repeatedly failing sewer infrastructure in the University Center neighborhood on campus. Latitude 33 Planning & Engineering was hired as the Executive Engineer on the project to help identify the problematic areas of sewer within the neighborhood; create solutions to mitigate future failures; and execute the work with UC San Diego and a future contractor, all within an expedited schedule of 4 months to construction.
