This Design-Build contract involves the topographic surveying, civil engineering design and construction support for new facilities totaling 20,000 gross square feet (GSF), over two non-contiguous project areas totaling ~5.8-acres, to support Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) Advanced Training Command (ATC) at the Silver Strand Training Complex – South (SSTC-S), part of Naval Base Coronado (NBC) Coastal Campus (CC), Coronado, California. The project includes the construction of a new Operations Support Facility (OSF), demolition of Building 95 (B95), renovations to existing historic Building 1 (B1), demolition of Building 903, site improvements, utilities, drainage, and road extension of Sea Float Street. Construction drawings, basis of design narrative, specifications, reports, and utility labeling plans were prepared and provided. A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) was also developed to obtain coverage by the State of California’s Construction General Permit (CGP). Construction staking is also being provided.
